Keavin has got me thinking about how many Alembic Dragon inlays there are in circulation. So far I have found three. Stanley Clarke

I have a dragon behind my basses (when I'm playing) Does that count? :-) There are some others here, Danno's 6 string Spoiler, a lefty Series bass and an old one (no 999?) as far as I know Dragon magic is the best (guitar) of course, awesome guitar! |

I love the shape of that old bass. It seems a more elaborate version of Keavin's No:12 Jazzyvee |

It's interesting that the John Judge Dragon is heading towards the body of the bass in contrast to the others which are heading towards the nut. jazzyvee |
