I saved the MK from a music store in Brooklyn a while back. I fell in love and had been playing it exclusively. My only complaint was the size and weight, so I went on a quest to find a more nimble player. After a few months of looking, I ended up acquiring a Brown Bass, and a SC deluxe. I can't get enough of the growl and punch of the Brown, or the piano like tone of the deluxe.
Hopefully this is the end of my quest for the perfect bass. The MK is up for sale
More pictures here. Don't worry the basses were only in the sunlight for approximately the 7 seconds it took to snap the picture on my lousey cellphone camera.

What are the extra switches on the SC Deluxe?

The previous owner had a few extra toys thrown in. One switch is a bass cut / neutral / boost for the neck pickup, and the other is a treble cut / neutral / boost for the bridge pickup. I wish I knew exactly what frequencies they boost and by how much. Additionally, the LED switch was swapped for a button and a master volume was added
He also swapped the glossy finish for a satin finish, which I find absolutely breathtaking. I'm a sucker for non-glossy finishes.
