I can't think of a description for this one, but it sure looks cool. This picture was soon after slicing, so the color is strange. #665 will look a normal expected orange-red Coco Bolo color when finished. |

While you had saturn rings on other woods, this one reminds me of Jupiter cloud layers... |

Jeff, I fell in love with one of the Tribute pieces of coco bolo and asked if I could use it for my custom Alembic guitar ( a non-Tribute). The answer I got, unfortunately, was "no". Apparently these slabs are nearly twice as thick as the others to allow for the Tribute's carved top. Regards, Jonathan |

The answer is probably more like "not without a significant upcharge", but I suppose you'll hear for sure in a day or two. |
