husssssssssh Mica ...before you know it we have a bunch of strange talking club-members in this dep. Fulion te alke-and-more-of-that ...LOL
But I think Treebeard would be very happy -in his typical slow way- when he would see how you treat his nephews.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Paul, I was laughing even before I saw what you'd written, having just contributed to that "strange talk" elsewhere! But please don't mention Treebeard in a wood bank, it makes me very nervous...

Well brother Shaun,

without meaning to offence you and your kin of Tree-lovers, I DO think that trees are handled here with the respect they deserve. An instrument -especially a low sounding one- seems right to me. Although ...I don't know how teh Alembicians think about that and know what their "tree/wood policy" is. I think very respectful too??

We are definitley tree & wood lovers and tree-respectful; generally our exotic woods come from trees mother nature uprooted somehow (storms, typhoons, hurricanes and the like). I don't think Treebeard would be mad at us.

Thanks for that, Val. Several times I've thought about asking what your policy was (you know how difficult it is for us California types), but then I see (in person) the respect, honor, and love that you all bestow on these woods, and the question no longer makes sense.

Guys
I'm sure if a tree had to end up as anything other than a tree, it would aspire to become an Alembic.....

Yes, I wondered too Val. Nice to hear!
