It would make a very interesting game of lines on the outer border of the bass. Even "offsetting" the pieces of wood a bit could be interesting although I think that would be more faisible with smaller lines like Wenge or meybe Zebrawood (the-wet-dog-smelling-wood HA!) Paul TBO
