Hi there Alembic experts. I have come across this guitar from my late uncle who willed his stock to me. It says Skylark on the headstock but very little anywhere else, and although it has the sculpted body, it bears little resemblence to other Alembic Skylark shapes. I wondered if it might be an old model before Alembic branding became more consolidated. Or what? Perhaps it's a mongrel or a fake? The bridge appears to be a normal Les Paul type A couple of pics http://i55.tinypic.com/2v85zk9.jpg http://i55.tinypic.com/ncjwqb.jpg Let me know what you think. Many thanks Johnnyram |
