Larry Graham using Alembics?

I'm quite sure he using an alembic on several cuts of the "My Radio Sounds Good To me" record in 1978. Any Ideas what model he's using? A quick look at the Showcase section shows the earliest listed Distillate, (one of the first, if not the first, non-series model), being built in 1980. I'd like to find out what he's useing for distortion ? I did find something that's cool for Us bass players, Try useing a Blues Driver on you bass, It's sweet, BBE's Green machine works well too!!! peace EddieG
