Hey gang, if you haven't seen it yet check out this page. It appears to be new as of around March/April '04, and I just saw it because Mica linked to it in some other thread. Definitely fun for a few minutes of browsing. The grain on the Wenge really got to me - a bit much for me personally, but truly remarkable. I also thought it was pretty cool how the Vermillion back (body wood section) had the grain slanted relative to the neck. I'm saving a few for another time. -Bob |

Thanks Bob! Yes the pattern of that piece of Wenge does look very nice. The Bird's Eye Maple Fretless Essence is nice as well. I thought the Zebrawood was an unusual example of that wood. And that's an especially nice piece of Mahogany body wood. Oh, and the Coco Bolo fretboard is nice too! Very nice page Mica!! |
