Mica (and all),

I've noticed that on my Spyder, the output of the bridge pickup is significantly less, volume-wise, than the front pickup. Both pickups work fine, it's just that the bridge unit doesn't have the volume of the neck pickup. Is there a way I can adjust the output of the bridge pickup to make it more like the neck pickup? I recall reading somewhere that there is an adjustment one can make to this end. Anyone have any info on this? I've got Anniversary electronics in my Spyder 4.

Thanks,

Alan

There's a little trim pot on each of the filter controls. Turn up the one for the bridge pickup, or turn doen the one on the neck pickup. You should be able to even them out that way.

Generally with non-Series Alembics, if you take off the main backplate you should notice two small trim pots sticking out of the circuit board (just one on the 'budget' models). These are for adjusting the level for each pickup individually. I haven't tried it myself, but it is said that you can set the pickup height to get the sound you like, and then use the trim pots to balance the signal levels.

Thanks Mica and Adriaan. Just made the adjustments.

Mica: Any word on the replacement board for my Europa?

Thanks,

Alan
