HI EVEREYONE,
I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 75 SERIES I AND WAS WONDERING IF I COULD ORDER AN ADJUSTABLE NUT FOR IT? AND HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST ME. FINALLY HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST FOR ALEMBIC TO DO IT FOR ME? WOULD ANYONE ADVISE AGAINST ALTERING AN ALL ORIGINAL BASS?
THANKS,
-ED

Congratulations Ed!
Tell us more!
IMHO If everything else is stock, then leave it as is. 1975 ... brass nut or bone?

And Gale beat the rest of us to the mantra, but you know it anyway. :-)

I'd suggest a compromise: Get an adjustable nut but keep the original nut as well.
