That's the old retail store mentality: if something fails to sell at a low price, raise the price and see how it does. Usually this works because human mentality tends to associate price with quality (i.e., higher price means higher quality, right? LOL!). Personally, I think the owner is smokin' rope! | ||

Yes, exactly Hasse, that's what I was saying further up the thread. A little dry English sarcasm on my part. Thanks Mik and Dave. Now I get your point Mik it took a while before the penny dropped. I thought it was some kind of American bassplayer slang. In Danish we sometimes reverce the meaning of words and sentences in fun. Anyone make the guy an offer via email? Not being in the know for used prices, what's the thing actually worth? I might be interested in the thing for the right price (I don't actually "need" another one), but I'm thinking closer to a grand. BTW, the seller must be a club site surfer, or may actually be a member, because all the inaccuracies and/or unfortunate choices of words have been rectified in his current auction post text.
