Hello MICA, and all club members, I wanted to let everyone know that my search for a series II has ended. Tomorrow morning I will be giving Goeff's series II a new home! It was certainly a relief for the both of us to find that we are in the same locality. I'll be posting my signature standard soon if anyone is interested in purchasing, or knows of someone who is searching for an alembic.

I will want to see some pictures, if you can put it down long enough to pick up a camera.

Hail Caesar!! (I know I must be the 1st to ever come up with that one)

I saw pictures of that bass on the older Alembic message board and in the Swap board here. That's a beauty. Two years ago I couldn't find a used Series II 5 string. Now they seem to be popping up periodically.

Enjoy that bass.

Peace,

James

Everyone should have a support group when suffering from "MPS" major purchase syndrome. I know Brian and Bones are having one of the best weekends of their lives, CONGRADULATIONS to both of them. When's the first gig?

Thanks a million david for the words of encouragement. Man, I thought that I was the only one going through the "MPS", but let me tell you. The first outing for 0112520 was this morning, and I wasn't even using my rig! I used my wifes Roland keyboard amp, and the tone was extremely clean.
The pictures in the post don't show the actual likeness. The pictures are pretty, but you have to see and hear this bass in person.
