Great picture of a beautiful bass. Love how the flame figuring seems to emanate from the bridge pickup.

Just one for the LEDs. The other ones are regular: 2 for Q and one by the output for stereo/mono. Oh yeah, and the rotary pickup selector.

A beautiful instrument. I'm still saving pennies for a custom guitar some day, and I think these electronics are probably what I would choose at this point.

Why am I thinking about Golden Double Stuf Oreos right now? It's a beauty, although the gold plating is a little over the top for me.

I like the gold, but I think black hardware would fit this one better. Then move the neck p/up over by the neck & you have a winner! That top is subtle but scrumptious.

Just standard brass on the hardware, Dave. It's more subtle in person.

I would dig the black hardware, Peter. When we are making up recipes for guitars and basses to put in our own showroom, my mom usually shoots down the black hardware requests I chime in with over and over again! On this bass, it would look like a sharp dresser with the black hardware.

And the top is really lovely in person. That gentle bit of flame figure, and the hint-of-green coolness of the Myrtle is so pretty. With the oil finish, it's a very elegant bass. It sounds a little peppier than a standard Brown Bass too.

Mica, killer bass. I like black hardware myself.
