The recommended Liberon wax seems to be N/A. For some reason I can't find it.. Will this do?

That's the Liberon black bison wax. Seems pretty high-end.

Also, what on earth should I do with the back of the headstock where the bass is signed?!
I'm considering giving it a protective clearcoat layer, but not sure how it would react with the oiled finish of the bass?

Nicolai; I've forwarded your question to the shop, where hopefully an answer will soon be at hand. However, with a few people out because of illness, you might want to ask here in this thread again in a week for so.

Yes, I heard about the epidemic in Santa Rosa. Hope it's nothing serious!

I spoke with Mica concerning Liberon paste and she said that the Black Bison should be fine. I have ordered it and I will update as soon as I have an opinion.

Black Bison works incredibly well. I am using it on a brown bass.

I talked to susan a couple of years ago when I had the Crossroads bass built ( Custom achive) she told me to look into Trewax( clear paste wax)
well I did and it works fine however, I bought three and only needed one "They are really big" . I have two that need a new home if interrested let me know. The two I would sell have never been opened and are sealed. I don't remember the price but you have it for what I paided. Let me know if you are interested.

No, I am pretty anal about keeping my instruments clean. So I didn't have a, serious, dirt problem. But the Liberon did a nice job. I used the clear paste. But quoting Bass6 the cans are huge, it's looks like a lifetime supply.

Liberon works great on my Brown Bass. One can would last several lifetimes (LOL).
