I'm sitting on the fence. The stap I'm keeping, they'll have more in stock at some point. It is a great & very comfortable strap.

The bass I like very much. You can see pics of it in the showcase "MK Standard medium scale & Coco Bolo". I bought it new in December of 2001. It was one of the first basses in the yahoo store on line. I got my guy Phil @ Rolls Music in Falls Church, VA to look into it & he got me a good deal, as he did on my previous 2 Alembics. I think they've closed the doors at Rolls & I hope Phil is enjoying a very well earned retirement.

At the time I bought it I was gigging regularly, getting paid very well for it & my life circumstances were quite different. I was married, had a small farm, a small business that was doing great & all was right with the world. Subsequently, divorce entered the picture & by the time lawyers, accountants, shrinks & realtors were through with me, I no longer had a wife, farm, business, etc. My band also split up at the end of last year, so...

I'm contemplating trying to buy a small house in the sticks...city life isn't for me...& the cash from the potential sale of this bass would help with the down payment. If cash weren't a concern I wouldn't even consider it.

It's a great instrument. It's been gigged, but well taken care of. I'd say 9 out of 10 condition. The truss rod cover is a little tarnished in one corner from playing, but that's about it.

I've still got my trusty 85 Spoiler that's been with me for almost 20 years now & it's never let me down.

Like I said, I'm sort of sitting sitting on the fence.
