But while my Electronics are at the Mother Ship. I'm taking the time to give my 85 Distillate a major Buff and Shine. To my surprise (Perhaps shouldn't have been) I found the block of Solid Brass under the Bridge. Heavy Solid Brass. I think it was actually holding it outside the Bass that struck me. This part isn't very well known but very intrinsic to the sound.
