Dear All,
I hope you all are doing very well.
I just wanted to let you know that I am back home!
Some of you might know that I quit my WHO tribute band
last fall and shortly thereafter also my second band Martigan.
Well I thought that I will stop playing bass and concentrate
on guitar but I cannot live without those fat strings.
And of course, my first love was Alembic and still is.
So I think I will go for a new Alembic soon. Dunno exactly what yet, but could possibly be something that could match my name again.
Mica, be prepared to get an inquiry through Beaver possibly when I have decided......

Speicky, no, that was in the studio recording our demo CD....long ago....
Well, you know I thought I need to play guitar but those strings are so tiny... :-)
No, I need to play bass again.....not in a Who tribute...but a great rock bass in a cool band....
So let's see....
This is one from Schophoven back in 2005.....

Welcome back Oliver,

I think a new thread in the 'dreaming' section would be good! Interested in hearing your thoughts on a new Alembic.

This seems like a lot of Money. Best of Luck. Entwistle was one of the Bassist that put the Alembic sound in my head. And it just keeps getting Louder!!! Would Love to hear some of your recordings

Alan -

Nice collection! A Ripper right above a block-inlay Jazz? I'm not the only Greg Lake fan around here, am I?

Pete,
take a look here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kp-tvIfo5z0

That is an amateur video of my former band. Bad quality, but take a look, especially starting fro 3:40. And I must say it was not played with an Alembic but with a Status B2.....

David - Yeah, a Greg Lake fan for sure.

Oliver - I've only done one recording of it, but it is too big of a file to post here.

Oliver,

Not to worry. I have taken your place in WHO ARE YOU! Of course this is a USA version... I am doing my 2nd gig with them in a few weeks. Good luck with your future endeavors.
