I'd like some experienced answers since this is the first Alembic I've owned. I lost output over the course of one 4 minute song prior to being forced to take an unscheduled break during Saturday nights gig.

I'd estimate that I've put about 35-45 hours of plugged-in time on it since installing a fresh battery when I took delivery. Prior to Saturday I had no issues.

The bass is an Essence with Rogue Electronics. I play most time with the bass switch flat, treble cut and Q-switch active. I noticed what I thought was clipping, but nothing was being driven very hard. It become more prevelant and the moment I went to solo (treble switch to hot) I lost all output. A fresh battery may have made the difference, but I swapped out all my cables just in case. I had no further problems after.

Any input is appreciated, I really ate my shorts in the middle of stronge peice of music!
