Susan,Mica,Ron,and all the Alembic elves.
I just want to take moment to say thank you for producing your works of art.
I took possession of my new Excel yesterday. It turned out way better than I had imagined.
The only problem I encountered is I found out how sloppy my techinque has become..oppps, back to the woodshed !
Thanks again.
Gary

(and before someone asks I plan on posting pix in the showcase as soon as I can figure out this whole digital thing)

Congatulations Gary.

I know its taken some time for my touch to come up to my Alembic's standards.

Fortunately, there's beauty in the learning...

Ah there's a price to pay for all that beautiful sustain and delicious overtones isn't there? For me having an alembic has forced (inspired) me to play cleaner and be extra careful with muting.

Geddy...exactly ! I thought I played fairly cleanly, but after getting this home it sounds sorta like someone talking with a mouth full.

Hollis..thx..I have time, good excuse to play more.
