Hopefully I can get to meet him one day. And that's an optical illusion... his hands are actually much LARGER than that! jacko Senior Member Username: jacko Post Number: 3249 Registered: 10-2002 Posted on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 - 4:22 am:    I managed to give stan a high five at the end of one of his upright bass numbers at the Jazz cafe in london a few years ago and I was amazed at the size of his hands (also amazed that his alembic had straplocks instead of his more usual method of using woodscrews to secure his strap. And he has gigantic hands. Like I have some chicken chokers, and his hands dwarfed mine.
