Tiger Strap Buttons?

Old Gibson's shape looks close, but not big enough. One theory is that Doug used Alembic-made buttons? Anyone know? Are they available? On ebay, from the UK, around $5! I had to drill out the hole to like 11/64" in order to use a beefy enough screw.
