I'm doing the front end for my bass amp. Does (my) Epic have a capacitor coupled output? What sort of impedance/drive does it have? Can I get a drawing maybe? Anybody? Gracias.

Until one of the tech heads joins in, here's my layman's insight.

If the bass has the original Alembic electronics, on a regular bass amp they sound best through the Active, lo-impedence, input. They drive the average Passive input just fine too, but it will sound a little muffled.

It's got the stock Epic electronics package which I like very much. I'm guessing 500-1000 ohms (and maybe 10-50pF) to ground is good at the amp input but I'll go lower if I can.

This applies to plugging straight into the amp but what happens when you plug into a pedal for instance?

Forget it. I'll just measure it myself.

Roughlight - Yeah sorry about screwing up your thread. It becomes an ego fest on this board very quickly.
