I used my Mac to create the page and pictures. I've viewed it with Safari and Explorer for Mac (I test with Netscape, Explorer and Opera on PC). The images all seem fine here. What OS/browser are you using? Is it only the first picture that doesn't open? The last one of Stanley with the bass is not enlargable, sorry.

I'm using a Mac as well. On Macosx 10.3.6 with Safari the pictues look very good, propably too good to be true. I can't believe this bass is human-made.....
What kind of magic are you folks using there....

What a great looking bass. Now I'm itching to see some live footage of him playing it.

(side note: I thought it was interesting that Stanley uses a woodscrew and washer to keep his strap on. Not long after I got my Series-I I reinstalled the original strap pins and put washers on to permanently attach the strap. Personally I thought it worked better using the strap buttons to hold the washer on instead of just directly screwing it on (which I had also tried) because the strap doesn't get "pinched" when you use the strap buttons. Just a thought.)

Hi Mica: Im using a Dual 1GHz PowerPC G4, running Jaguar (10.2.8), i tested in Explorer, Netscape, but only in Safari i could see all the pics.

I mainly use Explorer, i think i would have to chage to Safari.

Thanks, and thats a "GREAT BASS"

Hi Mica,
I'm using a Mac Powerbook 3400c, system 7.6.1 and Internet Explorer 5.0 and have no trouble viewing any part of the Alembic website on a 6+ year old Mac.

Awesome bass and even more awesome player !! ........Mica I can't wait till my triple O 6 string bass gets going and you can put some pics up of it being born ;o).

as for keeping the strap on my basses, I always take it off when putting them to sleep in their cases, they don't really fit well if I leave it on in a form fitted case......I mainly use Schaller locks and have one set of Dunlop.
