Check out this pic of John Entwistle. I find the Alembic short scale with the Bigsby (?) (lower right) very interesting.

In no way complete, indeed; about 30-40 years ago, Guitar Player did a story on his collection. At that time he had a warehouse (in the proverbial "undisclosed location") filled with instruments - things like everything Fender made in '6?, in Candy Apple Red, then again in Sunburst......He was one of the great collectors. Stan's bass was being auctioned on the lowenhertz (sp?) website a year or so ago. anyone know how that went? Graeme |
