Hello there! A dealer have a NOS Mark King, and even if it seems to have the usual Standard features, the dealer said that the name is "Mark King Junior"??? The serial number is 92mj7358usa... can you help me? It seems that it doesn't have the sustain block too!

Thanx a lot!

"Junior" is our nickname for the Mark King Standard Models. The MJ of the serial number indicates a Mark King Standard. Most early Standard Signature models do not have a sustain block.

Thanx a lot! If I got it right, the bass does have larger walnut stripes on the neck... I guess that the lack of the sustain block is not a problem... but I wanted to know: are Signature electronics that much simile to Series' ones?
I also found a nice 1983 Distillate bass... I guess it does have the same features of the actual Europa model, so I guess it's a little "better" than a Signature model...
