Hello Mica,

Can you tell us which basses Mr. King bought from yourselves? I've seen pix of what look like (and I'm no expert!) series II basses in coco-bolo and burled maple? What is the difference between a full-size Mark King and a 3/4 size? Not referring to his height I hope??

The first bass Mark ordered from us was a long scale Series II in Coco Bolo and was the first bass fitted with the superbright Laser LEDs. While we were building it, I guess he got a little anxious and wound up getting both a used Walnut Distillate and an early 80's Bird's-eye Maple Series I.

After receiving the Coco Bolo Series II, he promptly ordered another in Quilted Maple. A few years later, he purchased 2 more Series II basses one Coco Bolo, the other in Quilted Maple, but this time in medium scale.
