The May Featured Custom won't be posted for few days more. I've been rescuing 2 very young orphaned kittens, so I haven't had my normal evening time to work on the website. This delay will be extended a little - because in one hour I'll be at the oral surgeon to get the dreaded wisdom teeth extracted. Hopefully I'll feel like sitting in front of my computer at home before I feel like coming back to the office.

Thanks for your patience on this - I will get it finished up and posted as soon as I can.

Mica, when I had my wisdom teeth removed, it was soup and milk shakes for a week, take note, Taco Bell,s pintos and cheese saved me from soup and shakes all week , it's not all that bad having your wisdom removed

Mica,

The best advice I can offer is to not attempt stoicism. Just take the pain killers, preferably *before* you're in big time pain.

Seems like dental work is happening to everyone I know. Tomorrow I get my crown installed. Good thing too, as the temporary cover fell off today while munching a tofu sandwich. You would think that it would hold up to something like that!

Hang in there, Mica! When I had my wisdom teeth out (all 4 the night before Christmas. Christmas dinner was a bitch). However, all was well, and it didn't really hurt that much. In fact, I never even finished the percodans they gave me......

Mica.
Hope the surgery went well. For what it's worth, My wisdom teeth all came in with no problems and I've still got them. Good luck with the Kittens too, we rescued three a couple of years ago and now they eat us out of house and home.

So far so good. I had one upper tooth removed and it only hurts when I smile :-) really! If I take the percocet, I can smile just fine. Decided to come into the office for the afternoon, so the recovery should be nice and speedy.

My oral surgeon is really great - I've got no swelling or bruising, and it didn't even require a stitch. I should be able to finish up that FC by tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for the good advice, everyone. Dave, if you were closer, you know I would have called you up.

On Stoney's advice, I am posting the "Featured Catsdom"

kikyo
Kikyo is just starting to play around. She loves to slap the bottle with her paws.

kaede
Kaede is always hungry. A week ago she was 2 ounces lighter than her sister, now she's an ounce heavier.

Their ears just popped up yesterday, so the vet says they are about 2-1/2 to 3 weeks old. It took about 3 days for them to get used to the bottle, but now they really have the hang of it.

The other 3 cats will have to get used to the kittens. Moby has licked each of them a couple of times, but is pretty disinterested. Motor sneaks up to them and runs away. Puddy looks at them for a while, then hisses and hides under the bed.

Ouf ...they took the tooth and left the wisdom!!!
Well ...I hope they did.
In my case I never ahd a problem ...there is no wisdom in me so certainly NOT in a tooth!

Paul the bad one

RATS ...I passed the 2000.
Hmmmmm ....just curious ....will there be an alarm going of? Will I be electrocuted behind my desk? Will I receive a toy-bass from Alembic (something I can play with in my baththub ...mmmmmm... that sound indecent)? A 2000 people doing "BOM" on an E string? A T-shirt for my cat Kaat??? Will I be punished or exposed as an antique member in that luxury cubbard of Alembic???

So many question! So many choices?? Real Alembic!!

I'd've thought you'd want the Dire Wolf!

Alembic logo on one tooth, Dire Wolf on the other, and the Alembic script across all the bottom teeth maybe?

Absolutely beautiful guitar Tom, the Coco Bolo looks amazing. I understand why you stare at it a bit before taking it out of the case. And your comments are equally eloquent.

But is it safe to have the Crow in this thread with all these cats ?
