Any info on this bass

I picked up an Alembic a few years ago, and I would like to know some more about it. As you can see in the picture its a fretless bass, with passive electronics, and the serial number is 86 S 4045. Anything you can tell me about the bass, such as what model it is, what type of wood it uses, anything would be helpful. Top is Zebrawood, back is probably mahogany, neck is all maple, fingerboard is ebony.
