Hello there. I picked up an Alembic a few years ago, and I would like to know some more about it. As you can see in the picture its a fretless bass, with passive electronics, and the serial number is 86 S 4045. Anything you can tell me about the bass, such as what model it is, what type of wood it uses, anything would be helpful. Thanks, - Mario

Hey there Mario. That's a gorgeous Spoiler model! Top is Zebrawood, back is probably mahogany, neck is all maple, fingerboard is ebony. The electronics are not passive, it has a low pass filter and Q switch to boost the range. ~Taylor |

I would check the battery comapartment if you think the output is a little low and to make sure it hasn't leaked! |
