I'm probably gonna get this wrong, but here goes: Where is the proper sub-category to place a picture request? I was reading that fab writeup in Wikipedia about Alembic Inc, and saw that blurb about Johnny Winter's customer Alembic Firebird-style guitar. I'd love to see a pic of it, but did not find anything in the Showcase area. Dave - I think Trekster means Firebird as in famous Gibson guitar shape, rather than fiery bird-like creature. <g> | ||

I asked Susan about this & she said Alembic made 2 guitars for Johnny Winter, the first being the one Dave provided a link to in his above post, while the second was a small standard body guitar, not a Firebird style. Valentino | ||
