At times the Quote Generator lists "Europa II" as a body style option - any idea how this may differ from the traditional Europa body? Have we seen one yet? Mike |

IIRC the Series II electronics do not fit into the standard Rogue and Europa shapes, so my guess would be that that is what the Europa II shape is for. |

Damn. I'm puzzling over this, too. Adriaan: I really liked your thought about Series electronics not fitting the standard Europa shape. I'm not sure you are right though - According to the Quote Generator, you can build a Series II with either a Europa or Europa II body. By my read, the QG mentions the "EII" as an available option for the Series 2, but not the Series 1; and available on the the Rogue, Europa and Essence, but none of the King and Clarke models. Go figure. Any other theories or actual answers out there? Bill |

I have a 5 string Europa w/ Series I electronics (See the Showcase Custom Section for pics). When I was in the ordering process, Mica informed me that the standard Europa body needed to be slightly modified to fit the Series I package. The EII very well might be this configuration. With my bass, I really couldn't tell much difference between my custom, and the stock Europa I used to own. Bones |

It is a slightly enlarged version of the Europa body shape to allow for more electronics than space allows in the standard shape. The Burl Beauty Featured Custom has the Europa II shape. It's not dramatic, but since it is different from the Europa template, it's an important distinction. |
