Thanks Adriaan! I am honored to be the owner of this incredible bass! To have it enshrined in the Hallowed Halls of Alembic with the previous Featured Customs is too cool for words! |

Well done Rusty and Alembic for creating such an amazing instrument. I hope this stays custom of the months for a few months. It's superb and well deserving of the honour. So Rusty, it looks like we both have custom of the month Series II Europa 5 string basses. |

Thanks everyone! Jazzyvee, I fell in love with your SII Europa even before I knew it was a COTM! Yours is the reason I chose the Europa body for my build & Steve Wood is the reason it is blue! |

I really enjoyed watching this one come together. Congratulations again Rusty, and Spectacular Job Alembic. You kinda' hate picking favorites with this stuff, but I think my favorite feature is the neck laminate recipe, and especially the choice to leave it natural finish on the back. |

There was no doubt that this was going to be COTM. Another stunner by the artists at Alembic and Rusty for the vision. Congratulations |

None more blue! I said it before and I'll say it again - the first version was great, but when the correct color got dialed in - holy cow. Just goes to show you - trust the artists, they always know best! You have every right to be proud. |

David, they repainted it 3 times to get the color right! When you look up "perfection" in the dictionary, it shows a picture of the Alembic logo! |

Flip, I'm so thankful you got the Jan-Al case & that I saw it on your build thread! It is so much better than the Calzone I have for my SCSD! Glad you are now immortalized in Alembic history! |

Astounding bass Rusty, absolutely astounding and after reading the workmanship description, well does any other company pay so much attention to detail?, no they do not..forget the rest Alembic are the best. Are you wearing a complete fur onesie(one piece suit) so you do not damage the finish when you gig it LOL! |

yes amazing bass! Congratulations!! I love the Walnut Core idea; My only question is: Where can I get a Wife like that??? My biggest fear in life is that when I die my wife will sell my basses for what I told her I paid for them!!!! |

Edwardo, the Walnut core was Susan's suggestion. When I told her I wanted a bass with great attack & clarity, she suggested the Walnut core, & she nailed it! The Blue Orca has tons of both! Alembic can absolutely build you the bass of your dreams, but my wife is one of a kind! I thank God every day for her! |
