Thought you might like to see a new band I have joined called Bagge Of Nuts.I am playing my trusty Distillate which sounds great with my EBS 350 and 1x15 cab.

Jim,
That was pretty rocking as Pauldo said loved the fills! Is that a standard Distillate? If you get a chance post some pics of them Bass.

Cool! Just watched the "I Shot the Sheriff" video as well. In that one, you can see the front of the bass a little better; still kind of hard to tell, but looks like a top mounted control cavity plate with custom pickup placement.

Hey Jim - Welcome to the club and thanks for the videos! Loved all three videos. All three of you sound great! Very smooth and great tone from everyone in the band. Plus the guitar player has an awesome voice!

Post up some pics in the showcase.

Heres a link to my Flickr page.I have uploaded a hi-res photo. Thanks for the kind comments.
The extra pickup is a Dan Armstrong from an Alembic mould (I believe)

Dan is the guy who made the Plexiglass (Lucite?) instruments in the '70s.

THAT's who.

Nice work, JB. I love trios done right (like yours) where the guitarist doesn't suck all the room out on arrangement and the bassist can cover some extra ground while still holding things together. Great tone with the EBS.

Good arrangement of a worn out classic which is done very badly by those who don't understand rock 'n'roll but this is excellent!.
I love really good slide work, this is very subtle but right to the point. You would go down great here in the North East of England!

Oh yeah...your group had a drummer. I didn't notice at first. Just kidding!!!

Well not totally. One of the characteristics IMHO of good drummers (as well as bassists) is that, at least in many types of R&R, they are there and make an important contribution but don't necessarily standout. They put down the groove so effortlessly that they permit others to standout.

Great range of tones out of that Distillate! And great playing too. Guitar sounds killer, and the drummer sounds like a ton of fun to jam with.
