hi folks/ just got my SF-2 from lothar (music-station) in germany and it was really nice to plug this long-awaited apparatus in. how sweet it was...!!!!incredible!!!!the possibilities were stellar! BUT when i turned the volume up a terrible current-hum...well, not creeped up but rather jump violently on me & my speaker...just using my F-1X+gallien-kreuger amp is dead silent...how come the SF-2 is producing this noise? any tips well be welcome! thanx! |

It's not entirely clear, but do you have the SF-2 plugged into the effects loop? If so, try cabling like this: F-1X --> SF-2 --> GK amp Let me know how it works out. |

Also try isolating each piece so that none of the components are touching each other. Probably not it, but worth a try just to see. I'm wondering, would incorrect voltage jumpers do this?? |

1000 gracie for your advice. well...i was sent info on how to place the jumpers on the (god, itīs good!) F-1X (we have 230V in sweden so i used the 220v stance). the SF-2 is juiced by the adapter that came in the package. on other rigs (inferior ones) this hum is not unusual. itīs sometimes taken care of by holding on to it/grounding. not very practical while playing! have a nice weekend good folks! |

everything sounded good at the gig - i was oversensitive...worse was my new epifani-cabinet were i discovered that one element in my 4x10UL wasnīt attached/screwed into the cabinet. and buzzing and trying to pop out.......pretty embarrasing for epifani! |
