Hello fellow Alembic lovers. I just got a 1986 Distillate in, and there is a loose wire from the switches that likely connects to the circuit board. Can anyone help me out by posting a photo of their Distillate's circuit showing clearly the back of the circuit board, and the wires from the two tone switches? It would really help me to get this thing up and running asap. Thanks much! |

I think this should do the trick - but it might be hard to solder it in without removing from the bass. |

Thanks for the link Dave. That gave me a clue as to the general area to look at, and I chose a spot that looked like the most likely it broke away from. Soldered it up, and all is working perfectly now. This is a great sounding bass! Thanks Mica and Ron for the photo. Not exactly where I soldered it, but it seems to be a-ok, so I am going with that. Time to get some playing in! |
