Ok, I was just thinking about all of the videos on adjusting basses on Youtube and said to myself I'd sure love to see Ron Wickersham create a video on how he makes adjustments on the greatest basses/guitars in the whole universe. That way we get to get a glimpse of how the creator "does his thing" in getting Alembics in supernatural playing condition. Granted there is much information written on care of the Alembic, but imagine dialing up Ron and having him talking us through his thought process and watching him work his magic!!! Thank you all at Alembic for these marvelous instruments!!!!

I was just talking to a visitor to our place yesterday about making some videos in the near future. But one video we won't be making is my dad adjusting basses or guitars - that's not his wheelhouse. He's the electronics and tool making and how-do-we-get-this-done guy :-)

But I agree that adjustments would be a very good video to have.

I can dig it Mica! But hopefully The Alembic Family will share their expertise on adjusting the neck (single/dual truss rods) Nut, and bridge via video. Ok...I'm gonna be greedy and say Adjusting the hum cancelling (Your dad on this process?) Merry Christmas everybody!
With Brotherly love...

How about a video on adjusting Ron Wickersham? We'll take what we can get.

Actually, doing the truss rod adjustments and all that stuff is pretty straightforward. I want to see the electronics adjustments and tool building improvisations! Hum and noise busting in action!

Wouldn't that give away too many trade secrets Edwin?
