Well I was backing into my driveway last night around 20 till 8:00 when my cell rang. It was my way cool salesman at GC. He told me my new Epifani UL-410 had just rolled into the door by Fed Ex. I told him I was grabbing a bass and heading his way. Well GC is an hour from the house so I ran inside cased up the Series 2 and drove like a mad man. Well I have heard a lot of good things about these cabs but nothing quite good enough. They had already set the cab up to an Aguilar head and was waiting for me. The "Gatekeeper" was new and had to read the serial number himself. But I was playing this beast by 8:50. These cabs are KILLIN we were clipping the 500 watt Aguilar before the speakers even tried to get muddy. The sales guy in the drum cave came out and said that was enough he couldn't hear the Radio. This little 56 lbs light weight out-performed the last 18 cabs that I have purchased in the last 8 months in 5 minuets. If you have never played one of these go out there and play one. This cab was clear with my low F# tuning on my series 2 insane I wish I would have taken the day off from work just to aggravate the neighbors. But it will go with me to my Dinner Jazz gig tonight I can't wait to run the upright through this cab it will be crazy. |

Big fan of it. I got it because lifting the Eden 4X10 is not something that I do well by myself. I still use the Eden when I play out, but always use the Epifani for practices at bandmates' houses (when I have to move equipment myself). It specs out at about 2/3 of the weight of the Eden, but I think it might be closer to half. dw |

I just finished practicing for a minute. I LOVE THIS CAB!!! Just sitting about 3 feet away facing the cab I could feel the air moving out of the ports through my wool socks! I am playing this through my DS-5R - BassPod XT Pro - Stewart World 2.1 power amp. I believe I am going to swap the BassPod out and reinstall the F2B and the SF2 into the rig for tonight's show. dwmark Have you tried the UL 212? I can't decide whether to go with the UL 212 or buy another UL 410 for the second cab. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks, Dale |

only bought one as it was my lug to practice solution. but if i were buying a second, it might be the 115. my second eden (which i really don't need in the bars and party locations we play) is a 1X18 and i've always thought that was a good match. dw |

I was playing with my older Eden Cabs a 410XLT and one or two 212 XLTs. This setup gave me good results for a long time. I like all of the air movement from the tens though. dale |

i grew up with a 1X18 in a Kustom combo amp. that may be the source of my bias. based on my experience with the epifani, i am sure you can't go wrong. if i were you, i'd call the factory for advice. i actually think i did that before i bought mine. |

I'm very happy with Epifani. My T310 has been mated to a 115 and its great live. These are not UL. You are wise to use the Alembic preamps. The Epis sound great with them. I picked up a genz-benz GBE 1200 as a spare. It doesn't have anything on Alembic for tone no matter what cabs I connect to. Good luck with you 410. Danno www.doomtree.com |

Thanks Danno I ordered a UL-212 to go with the UL-410 I think this will rock all my local jazz clubs with more than enough head room to spare. The new cab will be here on Tuesday. I can not wait!! Dale |
