Time for the new Featured Custom, Falling Leaves. I'll make a link from the front page in a little while, but the Club gets to see it first of course. I know I always say things like, "it's even better in person!" but it's totally true. This wood is so low-contrast and subtle, it's hard to capture a good image of it. Everyone here fell in love with these inlays. Enjoy! |

Subtle, but amazingly lovely. Enjoy, Pierre, like there's some way you couldn't. |

The Jarrah Burl front and back are gorgeous; and of course the leaves are extraordinary. Oh, and the photography is wonderful as well. |

When I saw the name of the owner I first thought it was you PierreYves but I guess not this time. :-) It is an incredible looking bass. Mica must have a private stock of wood that makes PRS's private stock look ordinary. |

Beautiful bass! I loved the "natural sunburst" of the wood around the bridge! |

The silver wire embellished inlay has reminded me to ask Ms. W. about something next time I talk to her. Golly, that's a pretty bass! |

Do I spy a 1.5" nut? Mmmmm, burl..... And I love the 'helicopter' seed inlay. It's such a great touch. Congrats to all. |

Gosh. This is incredible. I've got a bad case of bass envy. Love the burl and the thick maple body accent. In addition, at least in the photo, the walnut in the neck creates an optical illusion for me and suggests I'm looking through the neck to the jarrah burl body laminate. |

Another masterpiece... The inlay work is incredible and the helicopter seed suggests a mirror image of the classic Alembic bird tailpiece - a nice subtle touch. |

The bass thanks you for all your touching comments. I feel very blessed, but I must pay essential tribute to the "Alembic family", and particularly to Susan that worked wonders with the inlays and all the rest ;-) I think that the motto "Beyond Custom" is truly very fitting! |
