I am learning a lot about these great features. Before I buy, I'd like to be sure about the functionality. 1) Can you have quick tone changers w/o the q switch? 2) Does the q switch have 2 different active positions, or is one position the "off"? 3) I am still not entirely clear on the "variable q control" function, please explain (when engaged does the tone knob drive the frequency being affected?) 4) what is the interaction between the quick tones and the q? 5) Why doesn't alembic offer quick tone switches and q switch on each pickup....Does the standard format that is offered basically route the output from both pick-ups? 6) Has anyone ever requested two sets of quick tones and q's, one for each pick-up (if so was it musical?) 7) Does the low pass filter come as part of the q switch set-up (at what frequency)? Thanks guys... I will be placing my order in January!!!! |
