Here's a question I need some help on. I have my Elan 5 string that I'm thinking on upgrading the electronics to a Europa by adding the quick tone switches. My other option is to just add bass and treble controls. There are pros and cons to both sides as I know. Actually the bass doesn't even need more treble. I would just like to add a bass control to it to bring up the bottom end a bit. I realize by adding another tone pot, I can dial in exactly how much bass I want, however, I don't want to add another knob to the front of my bass. By adding the quick switch, I alleviate the knob problem but I don't have as much control. Should I just leave it alone and adjust the amp as I have been doing for the past 11 years? Does any one have any suggestions or comments, please chime in!!!! Thanks in advance!!!! Dino | ||

Perhaps it could be done with concentric pots? (Two controls stacked on top of eachother) Matt |
