If you go to Ebay in the bass guitar section and search for Rickenbacker, you will find an ad for a 1982 Rickenbacker. The ad is hilarious. |

That is one seriously disillusioned dude. The Q&A are awesome, too. (Message edited by crgaston on February 08, 2006) |

"This listing (#7389001128) has been removed or is no longer available." So what was so funny? |

Adriaan, Basically the dude was trashing ebay and the scammers there after apparently having been ripped off a few times. The content and tone of the ad was absurd and sarcastic to the point of qualifying as a borderline autistic rant, and is basically impossible to duplicate accurately. He was serously frothing at the mouth. It's too bad it's gone, as the listing's removal seems to validate some of his gripes... plus it was funny as heck. |

The crazy part was that people were bidding on a bass that did not exist. Even after he repeatedly stated there was no bass. Man it's scary out there. |
