I just bought this bass used the other day. I am quite pleased with it. The tone, the feal, the looks, everything.

I have to find out a bit on this bass. If I read the serial number right it's a 93 because it starts out 93 XXXX. I thought they started making Epics in 1994.

I know that discussion came up here before, so I don't think you're the first one to find one dated '93. Let me look...

okay...

I just looked it up and found that one had a maple top, a build date in late November '93 and was serial number 93W8025.

Thank you all. I love this bass. I actually sold my 1976 Fender Jazz Bass to get this one. She is sweet.

Beautiful bass! I too sold my Fender (and a Ric) to buy my Alembic....best thing I ever did. Congrats!!!!!

Wow, great pictures of a beautiful bass! Well done. I'm a guitarist myself, but once I got my hands on my Tribute, I realized everything had changed for the better forever and I'm never looking back.
