Here are some pics of me with my Spyder 4 in the studio. What do you think? (Sorry for the bad quality. Normally I should sell at least one of my Spyders to get my financial situation a bit solved. BUT every time I play them or see pics I DONīT want to sell them. So I will do my best that I need not to sell them. They are simply fantastic. As for the effects board it is in fact a Boss ME-50B. It is really good and especially the high-band drive is very useful with distorting only the highs while keepin the basses clean. I still have a few sets of 45's and I haven't tried them yet. Yes I am trying again the Optimas. The first set was really bad. I had claimed with the manufacturer here in Germany and he had sent me a free set which I am currently testing. They are really good, seems that the first set really was a bad one... I hope they hold up better than your first set because they were about $50USD a set! I wired a set of 0,45" roundwound on my Spoiler, and I just get the tone I dreamt of... unbelievable. I am thinking about trying flatwounds for my Essence, too. Christian (the faker)
