That is a sweet guitar, I love the look of the omega cut-out. Have you had it a while? I have a '78 guitar that ,I'm sure like yours,is hard to put down. cheers, Kris

Here's what the file reports: Top: Purpleheart Core: Cherry Back: Purpleheart Neck: Maple and Walnut Fingerboard: Ebony Peghead veneers: Walnut and Padauk Birthday: June 22, 1976 We haven't heard from this guitar since it was first sold to the distributor. Looks like it's missing the pickups selector knob and is the top cracked to the left of the 5-pin or is that just glare? It also looks as if there is a tiny chip off the omega. A very unusual tailpiece position, I've never seen one placed back so far. I'm not really sure what it's worth as a used piece, our pricing experience is with the new ones. When people register their isntruments, we hear typically from a low of $1800 upwards to $4000 for older Series I instruments. A new guitar made like this would run $7700 retail. Cool guitar! |
