Any ideas?

It has to be about human bahavior (ie. are men or women more likely to come to a complete stop at a stop sign etc.), but I would really like to relate it to bass or preferably just Alembic basses. Any ideas and/or input would be great. See a bands equipment on stage and notice an Alembic bass and before the bassist plays a single note you have a preconceived idea that this cat can thump. More often than not I bet they'll say they were afraid to pick it up because of its value. And have them rate Alembic intimidation factor. I've been playing bass for over 31 years and have owned more than 40 different basses. I currently have 16 basses, assorted brands. I have been marrried only once, and am still married to the same woman for 27 years now. So the question is, am I more loyal to her or am I afraid I'd loose the basses in the divorce!..................... Maybe you could write something about how fine gear intimidates others, or impresses upon people some other sort of preconceptions? Just a thought! Some of the greatest players in the world played, Fender(Jaco), Yamaha (Patitucci), Sadowsky (Will Lee) and of course Alembic (Clarke).. the list goes on. On a side note, some people may ask why I included Will Lee in the above list. Will is what I call "the workin' mans' bassist. The cat shows up everywhere, and can play his butt off. Any style, any type of music and enjoys the heck out of it!
