for a Dead tribute group I play with. After a long search and trying many guitar players, my expectations weren't very high. As soon as I walked in the rehearsal room door (with my S1), I saw the guitar player holding this! http://www.imagecabi.net/images/BuddyLove/furthur2.jpg having two Alembics in the band was a treat! the guitar player was Scott Law, a fantastic player with THE tone...at least the tone this group has been looking for. Don't know if his busy schedule will permit him to play many dates with us, but it was a refreshing change to the players we were trying out previously. Scott is a fantastic player and a really nice guy. I hope to play with him again and hear that wonderful guitar and the beautiful tones it was producing last night. |

Spose: You can also see Scott's guitar here: http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_scottlaw.html It was January '06 Custom of the Month. I also saw it a few times while it was under construction. I love the banjo inlays on the fretboard. Bill, tgo |
