Hello, I'm new in this forum and I need your help. I have a doubt: Is this top Flame California Walnut or Figured California Walnut ? I don't know. Which is the optical difference between figured California walnut and superb flamed California walnut ? Thanks, Arturo

The bass pictured is the Flame Walnut. The flame figure is like what you see in Flame Maple - a cat's-eye like appearance usually about 90 degrees from the dominant grain pattern, like what lots of people call tiger flame maple.

In your Option list in Wood and Finishes I see the optional Flame California Walnut for $ 400. Have the instruments show in that pictures this walnut? Thanks again, Arturo p.s. Excuse me for my bad English

Both appear to be what we would consider Flame Walnut. Nice looking basses! |
