Hello Mica/alembic

If possible, could you please tell me what kind of wood (stain?) was used on the Stanley Clarke model on the far left hand side of this picture from the "Alembic" section of the basscentral site. It looks like a wonderful rich cherry colour.

Matt's right - it's Vermilion, also known as Padauk and that's the natural color of the wood. Over time, it will turn a darker red-brown.
