I love to see the relatively simple and elegant instruments featured like this. An instrument doesn't need a rougher coastline than Norway or a square foot of shell inlay to be truely special. This one looks like it nailed it dead on! Congrats! |

Nice to see an Alembic with a finish which not only shows off the wood but looks great too. To me is has that vintage but new look. Bet is sounds as good as it looks but then don't all Alembics??? Think I will wait until the mortgage is paid off in a couple of years then give Mica a ring |

Hello Friends , Thank you all for the kind words ! Yes , this bass sounds as great as it looks ! A series 2 is honestly a real challenge due to this sophisticated electronics and the overall precision of the instrument that you must learn before you have "the " sound !!! So , you really have to " study " to play it well ! It's a very demanding instrument but once you get it , it's so greeeaaattttttt ! ...but you all know that far better than me folks , you all are pretty good specialists in the alembic world !!! Thank's again friends ! ALAIN |

I'm not a fan of painted Alembics but this one is SLICK. It has a Neo-Retro look. Very VERY cool. COngrats Alain. |

I realize that the various dark exotic woods would just not look right when it comes to paint, but when it comes to the ashes and maples and other white woods . . . (here comes, you know what I'm gonna say) ALEMBICs look BETTER in COLOR! J o e y |
