I am interested in one of these basses however only in long scale...were they made in long scale and if so did they make many??? thanks for any help

I've seen only one(picture) Almost all Spoilers are 32 inch...

A long scale Spoiler would probably neck-dive - the standard medium scale balances at 3 o'clock.

Most Persuaders have the Spoiler body shape, so yes - the same applies there. The difference is that Persuaders usually had PJ pickups, instead of soapbars, 2 volumes instead of volume + pu-switch, and the filter without the Q switch but with the 8dB boost always on.

Must say that I really like the 32 inch scale. My '87 Spoiler is strung ADGC (1 step below low B)
