I believe the P in the serial # indicates that it is a Persuader, not a Spoiler...body style is the same, electronics are different. By the way, I used to have a Spoiler with a crown headstock...there is a picture posted in the Spoiler section. I still have my '85 Spoiler...no picture posted at this time.

90P5969 is in fact a Persuader bass as Paul noted. top: Figured Walnut accent laminate: not recorded, but if present is likely Maple body: Mahogany neck: 3-piece Maple neck through 32" scale fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays pickups: P/J with 2 volume 1 filter finish: Clear gloss hardware: Chrome tuners, brass hardware birthday: actual birthday not recorded, but since it entered spray on May 11, 1990, I'll estimate early June as a completion date. originally sold to: Situate Music As far as price goes, I can only help you with what we would charge to make a new one. For this bass, we'd charge $3500 currently to make one with the same specs. |
